Bründl Kaprun expansion flagship store

The flagship store developed in 2008 for the Austrian sports dealership relies on a striking formal vocabulary that reflects the surrounding Alpine panorama and has long since been a real eye-catcher in Kaprun. The new extension to the building continues its existing proportions and supplements the materiality to include dark varnished wood – in the form of both surfaces and louvers that, along with the large windows, lend a rhythm to the building volume. The transdisciplinary collaboration of specialists from the worlds of architecture, interior design, and graphic design has given rise to a truly extraordinary and yet utterly coherent lifestyle building.
