Buried Hearts film set
Various sets were developed for the South Korean drama series, Buried Hearts, which made the social status, the behaviour and the emotional life of the characters spatially visible. The story switches between political intrigue and family power struggles, which creates a context that demands high precision in design.
Each of the six central settings was very deliberately staged. From the monumental office of the company head via the traditional hanok to the minimalist city apartment, the interior is never simply a background, but a part of the story structure. In order to also reflect the variety of design in the technical equipment, switches, sockets, push-buttons and control elements from the JUNG LS 990 design range were used, which were matched in each case to the architectural concept of the room. In this way, the model in antique brass underlines the authoritarian effect of the executive suite, while versions in white, stainless steel or light grey in other sets emphasise reserve, elegance or functional clarity. KNX technology and room controllers were integrated into the scenography in order to create a coherent overall picture.
