Smart Mobility Hub: Innovation in Electric Transport
The Smart Mobility Hub is a state-of-the-art building located along a busy traffic artery near Brussels, designed as a complete center for electrically powered mobility.
This multifunctional complex not only offers sales and maintenance services for electric vehicles, but also features an innovative underground parking garage. While customers wait for maintenance or battery charging, they can use the building’s upper floor, which is equipped with offices, workspaces, and meeting rooms, making waiting time productive.
The underground floors are cleverly designed as additional showrooms. A striking feature of the building is the fixed periscope system, which projects the street scene to the underground levels and vice versa. This creates a unique visual connection between the spaces and the city, ensuring seamless integration with the urban environment. In this way, the underground floor, which is normally rather dark and unpleasant, gets a real upgrade in terms of spaciousness, light and visibility.
