The desire of the client for a Glass box as an image of a corporate office in the middle of parched land and arid climate demanded a significant gesture of an envelope. The whole assembly of box and envelope is placed on a raised sloped landscape for ceremonial entry and views. The building is rotated to align with the cardinal directions and each of the fascias of this envelope was placed and detailed in relation to the sun path. A tensile structure becomes the horizontal envelope on all sides of the building and spaces of varying depths under it serves as driveway, arrival porch, service bay and storages insulating the glass box.
