Xaveer studied art History at KU Leuven. He then pursued a Masters degree in architecture at La Cambre in Brussels and interned with Ralf Coussée & Klaas Goris.
Barbara Van Biervliet obtained her Master degree in civil engineering and architecture at KU Leuven and interned with Stéphane Beel.
