Through the strategic use of different materials and lighting effects on the façade of the National Marine Ecological Museum in Taiwan, a striking nighttime identity is created that is cohesive but uniquely dynamic. Light is applied as an interactive and transformative architectural element. Illuminated gaskets between façade volumes act as main lighting feature for the building exterior, virtually frame and unify the façade dimensions.
