Mechelen

The transformation of the former tax office into a marketing agency. The building is situated at the Kardinaal Mercier square, along the important axis between the Central Station and the old market. The interior area was completely demolished and covered with a glass roof. A new auditorium will be built on the ground floor and cellar level. A monumental staircase leads from the entrance hall to the roof of the auditorium, which gives access to the surrounding offices. Inside, one finds a new, fresh and open interior. Large coloured glass panels are integrated at various locations along the facades.
