Three themed pavilions were built for Expo 2020 in Dubai, which will take a closer look at sustainability, opportunity and mobility to better shape the future.
"Alif" - The Pavilion of Mobility, designed by Foster + Partners, shows you the latest mobility concepts on more than 12,000 sqm of total space and 4,000 sqm of exhibition area and explains how information, ideas and goods are exchanged faster than ever.
In keeping with the theme, Delta Lighting Design created the lighting design. The lighting design emphasises the shape of the pavilion from the outside and creates a constant liveliness in the evening by reflecting the light in the stainless steel cladding. Furthermore, the lighting concept functions as a signpost that guides the visitor through a kind of circular path around the pavilion.
A total of 870 LLF40.20 LED-Lightlines with a length of 620 mm were installed in the ground around the pavilion. The LED-Lightlines can be walked on and rolled over, which is important because it is a public place with a lot of human traffic.
